Summer ArtCamp! | The Golden Age of Wrecking
Step back in time at this immersive 5-day summer camp exploring ‘a day in the life’ of historic Key West during the Golden Age of Wrecking. Campers will dive into the world of maritime adventure as they test their skills in exciting wreckers’ races and hands-on salvage operations, collecting goods to bring to auction. Each day features a blend of engaging activities, including storytelling from local history, period-inspired arts and crafts, interactive field games, and a lively marketplace experience. This year’s theme, ‘Underwater Operations,’ introduces participants to the fascinating technologies of the past, such as diving bells, early diving suits, and submarines, bringing the mysteries of the deep to life.
